Nose
Rhinoplasty in Korea, designed for facial harmony
The nose sits at the centre of the face, so a small change there changes the whole impression. At Harmony, the nose is designed with your forehead, eyes, cheeks and chin in mind — and only what you need is done.

Why harmony matters
Each part of the face — forehead, eyes, nose, cheekbones and chin — differs from person to person, so a high, prominent nose is not automatically a beautiful one. A natural line comes from looking at the whole face and fitting the nose to it. Harmony plans surgery with sufficient consultation and only the operations that are needed, and performs them safely.
What can be changed
- Width of the nose base — alar reduction or non-incisional alar reduction
- Profile below the tip — columella lift for a hanging columella
- Bridge and tip — shaped as part of a rhinoplasty plan when the overall form of the nose is the concern
Several of these are often combined in one plan. Dr. Yu explains what each step adds — and what you can leave alone.
A female surgeon’s eye
Dr. Yu is a member of the rhinoplasty research society of the Korean Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons. She takes time to listen and to explain each step, and her attention to detail shows in the small adjustments that make a nose look natural.
Frequently asked questions
Can I have alar reduction without changing my bridge?
Yes. Many patients only want the nose base narrowed. Dr. Yu will tell you if another change would make a meaningful difference — and if not, she will not suggest it.
Is a female surgeon available for every step?
Yes. Dr. Yu is the representative director and manages consultation, surgery and recovery herself.
This website provides general information about procedures offered at Harmony Plastic Surgery and is not a substitute for a medical consultation. Every procedure carries risks such as swelling, bruising, asymmetry, scarring or infection, and results differ from person to person. Suitability is decided by the surgeon after an in-person examination.
