How long to stay after a nose procedure depends on the procedure itself, not on a fixed rule. Short procedures such as non-incisional alar reduction allow daily life right away; others involve stitches that need to be checked or removed.

- A quiet room where you can rest with your head raised
- Flexible check-out on the day you fly
- Easy access to meals — avoid very hot, spicy food and alcohol in the first days unless the doctor says otherwise

- Follow the written aftercare instructions you are given
- Avoid knocking or squeezing the nose
- Use a mask on the trip home if you prefer to cover the area
